Vicky Cristina Barcelona (yeah..again...So what?)
Vicky and Cristina decided to spend summer in Barcelona. Vicky was completing her master in Catalan Identity in which she became interested in due to the great affection to the architecture of Gaudi.
Cristina, who spent the last 6 months writing, directing and acting in a 12-minute film that she had hated, had just broken up with another boyfriend and longed for a change of scenary (so did I).
Everything fell on the place when a relative of Vicky, who lived in Barcelona, invited them to spend summer there.
Vicky had no tolerance for pain and no lost for combat. She was grounded and realistic. From a man, she required seriousness and estability.
Cristina, on the other hand, expected something different from love, she accepted suffering as an ingredient of passion and resigned to put her feelings in risk. If you asked her what she was gaining putting her emotions in risk she wouldn't be able to say. She knew what she didn't want and it was exactly what Vicky valued most.
And both of them are pretty much who I am.
